Callup Technology Analyst Arraigned Over Alleged ₦75 Million Payment-System Fraud
The Inspector-General of Police has arraigned Confidence Ejor, a customer service experience analyst at Callup Technology Services Limited, before a Federal High Court in Lagos over an alleged ₦75 million fraud. Prosecutors alleged that Ejor and others still at large exploited loopholes in the company’s payment system on June 16, 2026. They allegedly processed customer bookings by charging the company’s wallet rather than the customers’ individual wallets. The prosecution said the alleged scheme diverted about ₦75 million for the personal benefit of Ejor and the alleged accomplices. Ejor faces four counts related to cybercrime, money laundering and fraudulent conversion.
