The Kwara State Police Command has arrested two suspected cultists in separate intelligence-driven operations across the Ilorin metropolis. The suspects, 33-year-olds Abdullahi Omotoho and Abdullahi Kawu (aka B-Red), were detained after sustained surveillance. Officers recovered a locally fabricated Beretta pistol from Omotoho during the raid. This operation is part of an intensified campaign against cultism, violent crime and other threats to public safety. Preliminary investigations have yielded leads on gang activities, and efforts continue to identify and apprehend other members. Both suspects remain in custody and will be charged in court upon conclusion of investigations.
