Kaduna PDP Governorship Candidate Suspends Campaign After Three Party Members Die in Crash

Kaduna PDP governorship candidate Usman Shehu Bawa, known as Shehu ABG, has suspended all campaign activities after three party members died in a motor accident. The suspension includes Saturday’s planned campaign council inauguration and campaign office opening. A statement issued on November 5 said the members were returning from a meeting in Kaduna. The deceased were Caleb Ishaya Alot, Jema’a LGA PDP secretary; Mercy Achi, Wise Ward women leader; and party member Charity Bahago. Shehu ABG sent condolences to their families and the people of Jema’a LGA. He also prayed for the recovery of those injured. The campaign activities are suspended until further notice.
