Lagos ADC Governorship Suit Involving GRV Adjourned to November 6
The Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned the suit filed by Alli Afeez Olasunkanmi against Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Independent National Electoral Commission and the African Democratic Congress. At the October 29 sitting, the court confirmed that hearing notices had been served on the ADC and Rhodes-Vivour. However, it noted that the matter was scheduled for mention, not for the hearing of pending applications. Justice Aluko adjourned the case to November 6, 2026, for the pending applications to be heard. The court also directed that fresh hearing notices be served on all defendants. The substantive issues in the case have not yet been decided.
