Peter Obi Says He Will Accept a Credible Outcome in the 2027 Election

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, says he will accept the outcome of the 2027 presidential poll if it is transparent and credible. Speaking in an interview, Obi maintained that he won the 2023 election. He said Nigerians’ choice must be respected when elections are conducted fairly. The former Anambra State governor also argued that competence should matter more than zoning, ethnicity or religion in selecting leaders. He said Nigeria needs capable leadership to tackle its economic and development challenges.
