Sanwo-Olu, Lai Mohammed and Gbenga Daniel to Discuss 2027 Polls, Insecurity at Lagos Lecture
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Information Minister Lai Mohammed and former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel are expected at Freedom Online’s seventh annual lecture in Lagos on September 3. The lecture will examine insecurity, economic pressures and their implications for the 2027 general elections. Discussions will focus on electoral violence, thuggery, poverty and the roles of politicians, security agencies and INEC in ensuring credible polls. Sanwo-Olu will speak as special guest, while Mohammed will chair the event. Journalists, security experts, policymakers and other stakeholders are also expected to discuss ways to strengthen Nigeria’s political and economic stability ahead of 2027.
