Anambra Police Arrest 28-Year-Old With Suspected Drugs Valued at ₦5.8m
Anambra State Police Command says it arrested a 28-year-old suspected drug dealer during an intelligence-led patrol on the Nteje–Otuocha Road. Police said officers recovered suspected cannabis, methamphetamine and Colorado, also known as colos, with an estimated value of ₦5.8 million. The suspect was allegedly taking the substances to Otuocha, Anyamelum, Nzam, Umuleri and Aguleri. The command is investigating whether the consignment was linked to people who could disrupt the ongoing local government elections. The suspect and recovered items are in custody as investigations continue.
