APC and PDP File Petitions Challenging Adeleke’s Osun Re-election
The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has received separate petitions challenging Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election in the August 15 governorship poll. The petitions were posted at the tribunal secretariat in Osogbo, formally commencing the legal process. The APC’s case, marked EPT/OS/GOV/01/2026, was filed by its candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, against Adeleke, the Accord Party and INEC. A second petition, marked EPT/OS/GOV/02/2026, was filed by Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola against Adeleke, INEC and the Accord Party. The posting of the cases clears the way for service of court processes and further tribunal proceedings.
