Troops Rescue Soldier Abducted at Army Training Centre in Plateau

Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have rescued Cpl. Amos Bala, who was abducted at the Nigerian Army Training Centre’s Miango Range in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. Bala was reportedly kidnapped on September 27 and released around 9 p.m. on September 28 after troops intensified rescue operations in the area. He sustained injuries during captivity and was taken to the training centre’s medical facility for treatment. He has since rejoined his unit.
