Fuel Subsidy Removal: Where Are the Savings Going?

I keep wondering where the savings from fuel subsidy removal are going, especially as many Nigerians continue to struggle with high transport fares, food prices and declining household income. The Federal Government says much of the money has been absorbed by rising debt-servicing costs and increased public spending. Yet the expected relief has not been obvious in the daily lives of many families and small businesses. Do you believe subsidy removal will eventually deliver real benefits, or has the policy made life harder for the average Nigerian without enough accountability for the savings?
