40-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Bayelsa Guest House After Alleged Sexual Encounter

A 40-year-old man, Felix from Cross River State, was found dead and naked in a guest house along Azikoro Road in Yenagoa early Wednesday morning. A cleaner raised the alarm after discovering his body following an alleged sexual encounter with an unidentified woman who then fled the scene. Police cordoned off the room and recovered several sachets of alcoholic drinks. Three people—including the guest house owner and the cleaner—were taken into custody. Felix’s brother Dennis was also briefly detained when found with the deceased’s mobile phone but was released after explaining how he came to have it. Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of death and are working to identify and locate the woman who was last seen with the deceased.
