Russia Releases New Footage of 2024 Crocus City Hall Terror Attack

Russian authorities have released previously unseen footage from the March 22, 2024 terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow. Gunmen stormed the concert venue shortly before a performance by rock band Piknik and opened fire as people tried to flee. The attack killed 149 people and injured hundreds. ISIS-K, the Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State group, claimed responsibility. On March 12, 2026, a Russian court sentenced 19 defendants over the attack. Fifteen received life sentences.
