Kaduna Police Rescue Two Kidnap Victims, Kill Four Suspects in Ikara Operation
Kaduna police say they rescued two kidnap victims, killed four suspected kidnappers and arrested 12 people during intelligence-led clearance operations in Ikara Local Government Area. Police said operatives and Kaduna Vigilance Service personnel met armed resistance at a residence in Yoromowa, Auchanawa Village, on September 16. An AK-47 rifle was recovered during the operation. In a separate operation around the Arabu Forest Reserve in Makarfi LGA, the team recovered two locally made guns, three sacks of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis and a military camouflage shirt. The command said patrols would continue to prevent criminal groups from regrouping.
