Bauchi Police Arrest Car Wash Worker Over Alleged Killing After Political Dispute
Police in Bauchi have arrested a car wash worker, Sallau, over the alleged killing of his colleague, Ibrahim Jadda, after a political disagreement. The two men reportedly argued at their workplace along Gombe Road on October 21. Colleagues intervened, but the dispute was said to have continued after they failed to complete their usual stocktaking and profit-sharing. The following morning, Sallau allegedly stabbed Ibrahim inside their work cubicle before fleeing. Ibrahim was found critically injured and taken to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police reportedly traced and arrested the suspect in Liman Katagum, Bauchi Local Government Area. He is being held as investigations continue.
