NDLEA’s Marwa Vows to Track Down Drug Traffickers Nationwide

NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa says the agency will continue its crackdown on drug cartels, traffickers, financiers and distributors across Nigeria. Speaking at the public destruction of seized illicit drugs in Lagos, Marwa said criminal networks and the funds supporting them would be targeted. He warned that traffickers would be tracked down regardless of how sophisticated their operations may be. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Nigerian Navy also pledged support for coordinated efforts to curb drug abuse and trafficking. Marwa urged parents, schools, religious and traditional leaders, the media and other Nigerians to support the fight.
