Igboho’s Security Team and Police Rescue Kidnapped Oyo Mother and Son in Kwara
Yoruba nation activist Sunday Igboho says his Iru Ekun Security Network, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Intelligence Response Team, freed an Oyo State woman and her son held in a forest in Kwara State. Following three days of intelligence gathering and a planned ransom exchange near Jebba, Igboho’s team tracked the kidnappers, engaged in a brief gun battle, and found Adijat Kubura Aliqlas and her son Abdulmalik abandoned but alive. They are now receiving treatment at Igboho General Hospital. Igboho thanked the Inspector General of Police for coordinating support across Kwara and Niger states. He urged Nigerians to support legitimate security efforts and to avoid spreading unverified information that could cause panic.
