ADC to Sue Over Alleged Attacks on Atiku Supporters in Kebbi
The ADC Campaign Council in Kebbi says it will seek legal action over alleged attacks on supporters during Atiku Abubakar’s visit on November 5. The council says it will not retaliate and will submit video footage and other evidence to the authorities. Director-General Sani Tadurga alleged that about 20 vehicles were damaged, some supporters were injured, and phones and bags belonging to female members were seized. He also accused the state government of denying the party rally venues and alleged interference with access to traditional rulers. The council called on security agencies to remain impartial and investigate the incidents. Tadurga described the rally as successful, saying residents came out to welcome Atiku.
