Israel Arrests More Than 30 Over Alleged Hamas-Linked Network in Jerusalem and West Bank
Israeli security agencies say they arrested more than 30 suspected members of a Hamas-linked network during a joint operation in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Five suspects have been indicted on allegations including membership of a terrorist organisation, conspiracy to carry out attacks, illegal arms purchases and recruitment. The remaining suspects are still being questioned. Authorities allege the network planned to recruit and train cells for attacks against Israelis and security personnel.
