‘Fake Agency’ Suspect Says Gbajabiamila Approved His Appointment, Awaits Court Vindication

‘Fake Agency’ Suspect Says Gbajabiamila Approved His Appointment, Awaits Court Vindication

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi has denied posing as the Director-General of the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and the Presidential Economic Advisory Council. He insists the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, was aware of his appointment. Adeyemi says he holds a valid letter of appointment and is prepared to face all legal proceedings. He rejects claims that he evaded justice and trusts the court to determine the truth. The Presidency has dismissed his claims, calling him an impostor and confirming that neither council exists within the federal government. Adeyemi now faces charges of forgery, impersonation and using forged presidential documents.

Could Femi Gbajabiamila really have approved this appointment, or is the suspect shifting blame ahead of court?

I agree, it's hard to see Gbajabiamila okaying this. Feels like he's shifting blame.

There's still no official record of that Foreign Intervention Promotion Council or the Economic Advisory Council under such names, which makes the claim hard to verify.

Citizens should request an official gazette notice or an authenticated press release from the Office of the Chief of Staff for clarity on this appointment.
