Mocking Oyo Kidnap Victims: Where Is the Empathy?
Good evening everyone I’ve noticed a troubling trend since the recent kidnapping in Oyo. Some people are openly celebrating and mocking the victims. They post comments like “Election consequences,” “At least they’ll vote Obi now,” or “They won’t campaign for him again.” It’s shocking to see people treat this tragedy like a game. Many of those cheering haven’t gone home in years because of insecurity. Over 200 lives have been lost in their own communities, yet no one seemed to care until Oyo. Why does it take a headline in Oyo to spark their outrage? Are some lives more important than others?
