12 Killed, 309 Injured in Attack on Riyadh Airport
Twelve people were reportedly killed and 309 others injured in an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Saudi aviation authorities said the attack damaged airport facilities and forced a temporary suspension of operations while safety checks and damage assessments were carried out. Some of those injured were said to be in critical condition. Saudi authorities and the Saudi-led coalition blamed Yemen’s Houthi group for the incident, although the group had not claimed responsibility at the time of the report. The attack was described as the third reported incident at the airport within a week.
