Lagos Police Begin Disciplinary Action Against Inspector Over Viral Video

The Lagos State Police Command says it has identified Inspector Osumah Frank, the officer seen making inappropriate remarks in a viral video while travelling on public transport. The command said disciplinary action has begun in line with Nigeria Police Force regulations. It added that the inspector’s remarks were personal and did not reflect the views of the Lagos State Police Command or the Force. The Commissioner of Police, Tijani Fatai, said officers must maintain professionalism, civility, discipline and respect for members of the public. The command said it would not tolerate conduct that damages public confidence in the police.
