Osun Governorship Poll: Adeleke Leads Oyebamiji by 28,334 Votes in Five LGAs

Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party has taken an early lead over APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji in results announced from five local government areas in the Osun governorship election. Adeleke polled a combined 70,808 votes in Ede South, Ife North, Boluwaduro, Ilesha West and Ifedayo. Oyebamiji received 42,474 votes, leaving Adeleke with a provisional margin of 28,334 votes. ADC candidate Najeem Salaam recorded 1,690 votes across the same LGAs. Adeleke's largest margin came in Ede South, where he scored 26,188 votes to Oyebamiji's 6,219. The closest contest was in Boluwaduro, where Adeleke won by 68 votes, polling 7,118 against Oyebamiji's 7,050. The figures cover only five LGAs and remain provisional as collation continues.
