Sunrise Power and Transmission Company says it is reviewing the International Chamber of Commerce arbitration ruling on its long-running dispute with the Federal Government over the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project. The company’s promoter, Leno Adesanya, said its legal team is studying the tribunal’s findings, reasoning and implications before deciding whether to pursue further legal options. He said Sunrise would continue to protect its interests through lawful means and expressed hope that the dispute could eventually be resolved in a way that supports the project’s potential contribution to Nigeria’s power sector.
