Salvadoran Man Charged With Murder of Virginia Co-Worker After Alleged Affair Dispute
A 19-year-old Salvadoran man, Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos, has been charged with the murder of his co-worker, Carmen Lizet Puch, in Great Falls, Virginia. Prosecutors allege that Puch sent screenshots of their alleged affair to Cedillos-Campos’ girlfriend. A co-worker told police that he later said he intended to kill her and took a kitchen knife, gloves and a water bottle from their workplace before meeting her near Difficult Run Park. Puch was found with multiple stab wounds and gasoline on her body. Investigators believe there was an attempt to set her body on fire. Cedillos-Campos was arrested in Maryland on August 19, charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
