Cross River Man Arrested for Fatal Attack on Girlfriend over Infidelity Claims
The Cross River State Police have apprehended 35-year-old Malime Ejor for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Moshie Igu, over claims of infidelity. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at a farm in Nwang Village, Ekajuk community, Ogoja local government area. According to a local resident who spoke anonymously, a heated argument over alleged extramarital affairs escalated into violence. Ejor reportedly used a machete during the attack, and bystanders were unable to intervene until local youths restrained him and handed him over to security operatives. ASP Sunday Eitokpah, the state police spokesperson, confirmed that an investigation is underway and assured the public that justice will be served.
