Tinubu Mourns Prof. Kamene Okonjo, Mother of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the Okonjo royal family of Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, over the death of Prof. Kamene Okonjo at the age of 96. He described the late scholar and women’s empowerment advocate as an accomplished academic whose life reflected service, intellectual excellence and commitment to society. The President also commiserated with her daughter, World Trade Organisation Director-General Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the entire family and the people of Ogwashi-Uku. He prayed for comfort for those mourning her loss.
