Anambra Pastor Arrested for Impregnating 16-Year-Old Girl
The Anambra State Special Anti-Touting Squad (SASA) has detained evangelist and church leader Favour Ezani. He allegedly impregnated a 16-year-old girl who came to him for prayers and healing in Nnewi South. Victim Precious Okafor says the ordeal began in November 2025 during a special deliverance session arranged by her aunt. She claims Ezani forced himself on her, threatened to kill her if she spoke out, and continued to abuse her at his church, farm, and residence. Ezani admitted the crime and confessed he gave her a bitter-leaf concoction to induce an abortion. He has asked for mercy on the grounds that he would cover her medical bills. Okafor is now bleeding from the aborted pregnancy and urgently needs hospital treatment. She says she has no funds and appeals for immediate help.
