Two Benue Children Burnt to Death in Alleged Attack by Father’s Girlfriend
A family in Zaki-Biam, Ukum LGA of Benue State, has mourned the loss of two sisters, Precious and Seember Aondoyima. They died after being trapped and set on fire in their home on Monday, July 6, 2026. Community sources say the suspect, identified only as Mbayegh, had visited her lover’s house but was asked to leave. Angered and suspecting another woman was inside, she locked the children in a hut before igniting it. The two girls were burned beyond recognition and later pronounced dead. The local community is in shock as authorities investigate the tragic incident.
