The Army said technical and protective measures have been activated to secure the account and prevent unauthorised access. Members of the public and the media have been advised to disregard suspicious, misleading or unverified posts from the affected account. The Army said such posts do not represent its official position and urged people to verify information through its other official channels pending further updates.
