JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results for Underage Candidates, Clarifies Admission Rules
JAMB has released the 2026 UTME results of candidates who are below the minimum age for tertiary admission. The board said the release of a result does not automatically make any underage candidate eligible for admission. Only candidates who meet the requirements for exceptional consideration can proceed in the admission process. For the 2026 admission exercise, JAMB classifies anyone who will be below 16 years old by September 30, 2026, as underage. Such candidates are generally not eligible for admission unless they satisfy the board’s exceptional criteria.
