500 Agege Youths Graduate From Boot Camp in Drone Piloting, Photography and Design
About 500 young people have completed the one-month Get Ahead Boot Camp 4.0, organised by Agege Local Government in partnership with Oladele Inspires Initiatives. The teenagers received training in photography, cinematography, drone piloting and graphic design during the long holiday. The council said the wider holiday programme also engaged about 4,000 youths through skills training, sports and other activities. Agege Local Government Chairman Vinod Obasa said practical skills can complement formal education, create opportunities and help young people avoid crime and other social vices. Participants said the training gave them useful hands-on knowledge and clearer career paths.
