Ogun High Court to Rule on Injunction in Zenith Bank, Dolphin Steels Asset Dispute

Ogun High Court to Rule on Injunction in Zenith Bank, Dolphin Steels Asset Dispute

An Ogun State High Court sitting in Ifo is expected to rule on 3 August 2026 on an application for an interlocutory injunction in a contract dispute involving Zenith Bank and the receiver-manager of Dolphin Steels Limited. Prodigy Finance Limited is seeking an order compelling the sale of Dolphin Steels’ assets in Papalanto, Ifo Local Government Area. The firm also wants the court to stop the bank and receiver-manager from dealing with or disposing of the assets while the substantive case is pending. At the last hearing, neither Zenith Bank nor the receiver-manager was represented. The court noted that hearing notices had been served and that the defendants were out of time to respond before adjourning for ruling.
