Moses Paul Succeeds Yunusa Tanko as Obidient Movement National Coordinator
The Obidient Movement has appointed Moses Paul as its new national coordinator, replacing Yunusa Tanko, who has been reassigned as special adviser to Peter Obi on Northern Nigeria. Paul previously contested the Abuja Municipal Area Council chairmanship election on the platform of the African Democratic Congress. The movement said Tanko will now lead mobilisation and engagement efforts across Northern Nigeria. Tanko, who served for three years, cited the movement’s expansion into the 36 states, the FCT and the 774 local government areas as key achievements of his tenure. Paul said he would build on the existing structures and asked members for support.
