Federal Government Commissions 50-Bed Health Centre, Recreation Hub and 36 Classrooms in Alimosho

Federal Government Commissions 50-Bed Health Centre, Recreation Hub and 36 Classrooms in Alimosho

The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals has commissioned a 50-bed primary healthcare centre, a children’s recreational centre and two classroom blocks with 36 classrooms in Alimosho, Lagos. The healthcare and recreation facilities are in Egbeda, while the classroom blocks were delivered at Orisumibare Primary School. The health centre includes wards, operating theatres, a delivery room, laboratory, scanning room, emergency unit, ambulance and staff quarters. The projects are expected to improve access to maternal and child healthcare, create a safe space for children’s development and ease pressure on classrooms. Officials urged the local government, school authorities and residents to ensure proper staffing, security, maintenance and fair access to the facilities.
