Sokoto Government Seals ADC Campaign Office Over Security, Ownership Dispute

The Sokoto State Government has sealed the African Democratic Congress campaign office, citing recent security concerns and an unresolved dispute over ownership of the building. Commissioner for Lands and Housing Nasiru Dantsoho said preliminary records indicated that the property belonged to the defunct Savannah Bank. He said the government had written to the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation for clarification but was yet to receive a response. The government said the premises will remain sealed pending verification of ownership. It warned that anyone attempting to enter the building by force would face legal action.
