Peter Obi Says Thugs Blocked His Humanitarian Visit to Yelwata, Benue

Peter Obi says thugs stopped his convoy from reaching Yelwata community in Benue State during a visit to families affected by the recent killings. He said he arrived in Benue on Tuesday morning on a humanitarian mission to mourn with bereaved families and offer support. According to Obi, the group blocked the route and chanted for him to go back. Obi said the visit was not politically motivated and described the incident as distressing. He called for the protection of lives and for Nigerians to be able to travel and farm without fear.
