Tolu Ogunlesi Says Hackers Took Over His X Account to Push Crypto Scams and Anti-Tinubu Posts
I first noticed unusual cryptocurrency posts from Tolu Ogunlesi’s X account. The crypto posts were later deleted, and an anti-Tinubu post appeared on the account. Ogunlesi says X notified him on October 3 that the password and phone number linked to his account had been changed, despite two-factor authentication being enabled. He said every post, reply and direct message sent from the account since then was made by the hackers. He warned the public not to click links, send money or digital assets, or share personal and financial information with anyone using the account.
