Mr. P Celebrates Faith and Igbo Culture in ‘Chukwu Mee’ Video

Mr. P has released the video for “Chukwu Mee,” an Afro-gospel song whose Igbo title translates to “God Did It.” The track centres on gratitude, faith, patience and the obstacles he says he has overcome. Directed by ID Directions, the video combines upbeat percussion and choir harmonies with studio performances, church scenes, social celebrations and traditional Igbo imagery. Mr. P appears in formal cream and dark-toned outfits before embracing traditional styling in an Isiagu top, red okpu agu cap and Akupe hand fan.
