All citizens would move freely across zones without visas. To gain momentum, Palestinians should seek UN backing by highlighting their unique twentieth-century dispossession. A temporary, US-led peacekeeping force could maintain order during the transition. Over time, Palestine could emerge as a sovereign nation. Regional dynamics matter. Decisions by Israel or Iran will ripple into Palestine. As the Yoruba proverb warns, “Whatever misfortune befalls Iwo soon reaches Ede.”
