Peter Obi Denies Rift With Soludo, Says They Remain Close Family Friends

Peter Obi says he has no personal dispute with Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo despite their public disagreement over the state’s finances. Speaking to the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Obi said he and his wife are godparents to Soludo’s children and that they would always greet each other warmly. Obi maintained that he did not leave debt behind as governor of Anambra State. He said his administration left about $150 million in savings for the state.
