Police Rescue Two Suspected Motorcycle Thieves From Mob in Kontagora
Police in Niger State rescued two men accused of stealing a motorcycle from an angry mob in Kontagora. The suspects were reportedly found with the motorcycle in the Usubu area on August 24. A crowd gathered and allegedly attempted to lynch them before a police patrol team intervened. Police said the men confessed to stealing the motorcycle earlier that day from a residence in the Federal Low Cost area. They are in custody as investigations continue and will be charged to court.
