Anambra Patriots Endorse Tinubu’s 2027 Bid, Vow Igbo Presidency in 12 Years
Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) has officially backed President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. They pledge to rally stakeholders nationwide to secure Tinubu’s victory and negotiate an Igbo presidency within the next 12 years. At their Awka general assembly, APS convener Architect Okechukwu Ezeobi explained they will engage leaders across all 36 states and the FCT. Their plan is to support Tinubu’s win, back a Northern successor, and then push for a credible Igbo candidate after those two terms. APS says it will expand its mobilization beyond Anambra to all Southeast states and across Nigeria. The group emphasizes political strategy over emotion, aiming to convert the Igbo’s economic strength into lasting political influence. Earlier, APS national chairman Ozo Ejiamatu Enekwechi thanked members for supporting Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the 2025 governorship race. The group also unveiled its new office in Awka and reaffirmed its commitment to good governance and accountability.
