Christian Men Must Act: Pursue, Overtake and Recover Kidnapping Victims
Two Old Testament heroes show us that true faith demands courageous action. Abraham pursued and defeated kidnappers to rescue Lot. Years later, David chased bandits and recovered every captive. Today, Nigerian communities face a wave of kidnappings and terror. We pray, we lament, but far too often we stop there while criminals grow bolder and officials remain unaccountable. Christian men have a fundamental duty to protect their families and neighbours. This means organising within our communities, supporting local security efforts, demanding accountability from leaders, and refusing to normalise evil. If we claim the faith of Abraham and the heritage of David, we must pursue, overtake, and recover those taken. Protection is not passive—it is our responsibility and our inheritance.
