Troops Arrest Five Suspects Over Alleged Terrorist Supply Network in Borno
Troops of 3 Battalion (Motorised) have arrested five suspects during an operation in the Ladari and Gamboru Garage areas of Gamboru-Ngala, Borno State. The operation took place at about 5:35 p.m. on August 28, 2026. Troops reportedly seized four vehicles, eight jerrycans of petrol and assorted medicines allegedly concealed in a sack of charcoal. Military sources said the items were suspected to be logistics intended for terrorist couriers and vendors operating around Gamboru and nearby communities. The suspects and recovered items are being held by 3 Battalion pending further investigation.
