Ekiti Governor Hosts Iftar for Muslim Leaders, Hails Unity and Development
Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji hosted an Iftar for Muslim leaders from all 16 local government areas at the Government House in Ado Ekiti. He commended the community’s steadfast support and praised their role in fostering peaceful coexistence. The governor also thanked President Bola Tinubu for fulfilling campaign promises, notably granting provisional approval for the Itawure–Aramoko–Ado Ekiti road project. Contractors are set to begin work immediately after Ramadan. Governor Oyebanji pledged to include more Muslims in appointive positions if re-elected. Religious leaders urged worshippers to live in the fear of God and prayed for continued peace and prosperity in the state.
