Bwala Predicts Wider Victory Margin for Tinubu in 2027

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, says Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election by a much wider margin than in 2023. Bwala said Tinubu’s advantage would be strengthened by ongoing political realignments and the growing support of governors and other political figures who were previously aligned with opposition parties. Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election with 8,794,726 votes, ahead of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. Bwala said the President is expected to have the backing of more governors during the 2027 campaign.
