Adeleke Ally Olalekan Ajagungbade Shot Dead in Ile-Ife

Olalekan Ajagungbade, a political ally of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke known as Emir, has reportedly been shot dead in Ile-Ife. He was said to have been invited to a meeting at a motor park before he was attacked. The incident was reportedly linked to a dispute over control of motor parks and commercial drivers' operations in the state. The killing caused tension in parts of Osun. Governor Adeleke has directed the police to arrest those responsible and ordered warring groups to vacate the parks. He also announced plans for a Park Management System to restore order and security.
