Though scattered across the globe, we must pause to recall our ancestors’ sacrifices. Their fight protected all Igbo men, women, and children from hardships imposed without our consent. This day is for solemn reflection, not celebration. We remain unbroken and steadfast in our quest for the freedom to live on our own land.
