INEC Launches QR Codes to Help Lagos Voters Find Register Verification Centres
INEC has urged registered voters in Lagos State to check their details in the Register of Voters before the ongoing display exercise ends on October 15. The exercise began on October 9 and is being held across the state’s 245 registration areas and wards. Voters can confirm their personal details and report any errors that need correction. INEC says it has introduced QR codes to help residents locate their designated verification centres. The commission also said PVC collection has started across Lagos for eligible voters whose cards are available. Lagos has 7,488,633 registered voters, spread across 20 local government areas and 13,325 polling units, as preparations continue for the 2027 general election.
